How it works
Multiple synthesis approaches (WORLD, LPC, PSOLA) evaluated against each other, with an invariant suite and a licence lane.
Modalis explored WORLD, LPC and PSOLA approaches to speech synthesis. It ends by instructing its own abandonment — the repository's own conclusion is a negative result, stated in the record rather than quietly dropped. It is included because a body of work that only shows successes is not a record of engineering.
